Glad we have a site to talk again, just in time for Michigan boating season. I have a new GPS/fish finder for my 246 BR and I'm a little unsure how to do the electrical hook up. Would like to have it connected to dash but dont want to take a chance on running down the bats. Any one do this before.

Dealer wants $180 for install..........might do it. Thanks.

You can just simply hook the power lead up to the ACC.  position on your key switch thereby protecting your battery.  Your stereo ignition lead should be on the same terminal.
