Mine is an open bow the walk-thru is the area next to the engine cover, not the cockpit area (just to clarify)

Nice !!!   What a great idea !  It will most likely work out much better that snap in carpeting that gets wet and dirty..  Good luck with your project...post pics when you're done !!

My 260 will cost $2000 for cockpit and swim deck. The swim deck is around $800. That includes installation.

I got a price 3 days ago for the swim platform on my 2002 FV270 for $628 add $30 for Rinker logo(after getting approval from Rinker). Color is the faux-teak w/black backing... Here is the layout:

I think that has a classy look.  Send pics once it makes it on there.  Hard to install yourself?

Thats not so bad, I was expecting more.  My carpet is about shot so needs to be replaced by next year.  I currently have teak(believe its faux?) on the swim platform now.  Not sure if I want to keep it along with sea deck or just do all in sea deck.

WOW, price must have gone up a bit. I paid $562 for the faux-teak with logo for my 342 last summer.

Okay, I ordered the Seadek... Getting approval from Rinker was real easy too. I emailed Cindy Scott at Rinker asking for approval to use their logo(I included the drawing proposal from Seadek in the email). She replied "this has been approved by management"... I forwarded the complete email thread to the Seadek rep while I was on the phone ordering... DONE. Here is the email/info to request approval from Rinker:
