Adding a 110v AC outlet to the cockpit

Anyone ever add a 110v AC outlet to the cockpit? Some of us are not fortunate enough to have them from the factory, and I really would rather use the blender outside...

Just get a weather proof box from Home Depot or Lowes and you should be all set. As handymans said, it's pretty easy. I did one on my old boat and will be adding one on my 342 this spring.

My boat came with one. It's a GFI outlet and in a weather tight box.

Be sure to use marine romex! It has stranded wire instead of solid wire due to vibration issues!
