2000 340FV seacock locations

I have a situation when I start the Kohler generator and there is no water coming from the exhaust outlet on the starboard side of the boat. My first instinct was to be sure that the seacock associated withe the Genset was in the open position.  the only seacock that I see is in the bilge between both motors. But is that the A/C pump seawater seacock or the Genset seawater seacock? And where is the other seacock/strainer?

Should be the genset in the bilge. You may have a bad pump impeller.

Your AC seacock is under your mid-cabin berth.  Yes, the one in the engine room should be for the generator.  I'd agree with the impeller.

Well, before I say no on the seacocks, I also think it matters how it's stored.  I always close mine, but I pour pink thru them and then close and put a little in.  I do it that way because mine sits on a lift all winter.  I'd also think if you stored it in the water you'd do something similar (maybe blow air thru and shut off, then put a little pink in).

A good sticky or archive thread would be for some of us to list the locations of all of the seacocks on the different model boats. It would be a lot, but very helpful and good for future reference.
