Hey guys,

Is it ok to use On & Off with bottom paint?

I would wipe it on the areas you need to use it on. Some of the cleaners will discolor the bottom paint. You can always put it on a test area where no one will notice too.

I use a rag, clean the area with it then use a wet rag to clean it off.

If you spray it on or paint it on, it will run down and discolor the bottom paint. If you are touching up or repainting then not a big deal.

Weber is right, it is very thin and runs down onto the bottom paint and discolors it. I literally JUST used it today. I just learned about On and Off yesterday and can't believe that I just discovered it. I was very concerned about the brownish above the waterline scum, and in literally 10 minutes there was no evidence of there ever being discoloration. The only problem is it takes the wax with it. No problem, it will take another 10 minutes to reapply the wax. It was very easy to apply, and rinse off! The bottom paint is going on this week, so its not that big of a deal.
