Battery question again

Good evening all. Just trying to tighten up some lose ends on our recently purchased, and still learning about 03 FV 250. We have two batteries on our system. One house and one starting im assuming. Right now they are both deep cell with the starting battery bad (11.5 vol). Should one be a DC and the other a reg cranking battery? Thanks for the help all.

Yes, your starting battery should be a cranking battery and the house a deep cycle

Yup, definitely the starting should be a crank battery to push out high amps for engine turn over. The house circuit should be a deep cycle to allow for steady amps, and long, deep discharging.  Cranks get ruined fast if you run them dry, and deep cycles can take a bit more unloading.
