Boat is on the trailer and ready to roll

Well, after a long winter of worrying about rebuilding the trailer, finally the boat is loaded and ready to hit the road. Some of you guys helped out with your pictures and dimensions, Thanks. You guys that trailer your 270 please take a look and offer your suggestions and recommendations. Once I strap her down I will post a few more pictures.

Looks good!  I have a 270 and trailer it a bunch.  I will put straps at the front u bolt to the trailer to limit bounce and run another across the back (sides)of the boat to the trailer.  More to look 'prepared' and 'cautious' to patrol vehicles.

Is that legal size to tow? I thought 8ft 6in was the maximum width, and the 270 is just over 9ft.

9'1'' is the legal limit i am pretty sure. Maybe 9'6''

8'6" is the legal limit in PA, MD and WV. I had to get permits to tow my 280 back from Baltimore and could not take her on the PA turnpike because she was too wide for the toll booths. Towing around town, I don't get the permits. If I can find a cop that can figure out how to measure her at her widest point, I will pay the fine.
