Picking up a 2005 342 Fiesta Vee. Wondering what others have experienced on insurance rates. Getting quotes in the $2500 - $3000 per year range, seems high to me.

    that seems outrageous to me! i live in northern ky and i just insured a 2006 250 express cruiser for 41,000 and it cost me just under 500 bucks for the year.

    That's crazy money. I'm $600/yr with yacht policy and a new dinghy/motor. Full payout around $60k. Where do you boat at?

    $335 per year, 2013 276 Cuddy with boatus. $60k hull value and includes dinghy and motor. Started with $600 deductible and goes down every year by like $100 I think for claim free.

    I pay $1200 per year. I have replacement value of $80,000 and health liability of 1 million, Spill liability 1 million and property liability 1 million.....
