Two Beeps every minute or so on my 2002, 342 Rinker Fiesta VEE...what does it mean? Also; on RPM Ga

what does it mean? Also; on RPM Gauge, it is showing a blinking hourglass symbol....does anyone have any idea wht that could be??

Check the thread right below this one. The hour glass means run time is being marked and counted.

Hourglass solid = engine not running
Hourglass blinking = engine running, hour meter is accumulating hours

HOWEVER -- and this is a known problem with the Faria tachs -- sometimes the hourglass will blink when the engine is NOT running.  For example, if you turn the key to the accessory position to run the stereo, sometimes the hour meter will start accumulating hours.  Eventually, the hour meter can be way off.  One of mine reads about 50 hours too high.

Luckily, the engine computer always knows the actual hours.

LaRea, same thing for me. But, if it is blinking when you are just running the stereo, tap on it till it stops.

Could mean a lot of things. My last time it was an iac valve. If you ever have any idle or stalling problems I would bet the iac valve.
