Transom door barrel bolt size for 2008 330 EC

We too have joined the club and busted our transom door latch on day one of our new to us Rinker. I   found the Perko part but not sure of the correct size. 0947DP2CHR is 4-5/16 in long and 0947DP3CHR is 5-1/4 in long. I think DP3 is the correct one as the bolt alone measures just over 4in but it seems large and, of course, is harder to find online at a decent price.  Currently using the wooden dowel approach until we can find the part. Does anyone know the correct size?  Thanks.

I busted mine as well and went to menards and bought a 4" stainless barrel bolt set for I think 13$... Took it apart and just used the bolt part and now it works as good as new.

As a member of the Broken Bolt Club, I've got into the habit of only inserting the first 1/16" of  the rounded end of the bolt into the hole. This will hold the door closed, but the bolt is pushed out instead of snapping if the hatch is opened.

I found the best is to replace the round bolt that slide by a wooden dowel of hard wood cover with mactac or painted, then instead of ripping the entire latch just replace the broken dowel.
the actual lever to push the bolt in can be remove from the original metal piece and glue to the wooden piece.

I am now apart of this club.  On my set up the barrel bolt goes into a black plastic keeper that is on the side of the transom seat, this is what broke off in my incident.  Perko sent me the plastic keeper but it fits extremely loose inside hole.  Anyone know how this is supposed to fit or if there is something that attaches to the keeper from the inside? 

Picture below shows the black plastic keeper.

The bulkhead keeper has a threaded part so there must be a plastic nuts that hold it in place

@frenchship you would think so.  I just spoke with perko and they said it did not.  See the link, #7 on their instructions for the keeper.

Did a little more research and it looks like others have found a solution with the grommet.
