I cleaned out the tracks real well on the cabin sliding door.....should there also be some grease involved to keep it moving smoothly??

MarkB Member Posts: 3,972 ✭✭✭✭✭I agree the silicon spray is a bit less messy, but the lithium grease lasts a lot longer (especially if the track gets wet).

TikiHut2 Member Posts: 1,431 ✭✭✭✭✭I found the track completely unsupported back inside the far end of the track behind the helm. It made the door sag on the track when fully open so I glued a wedge loaded with caulking under the far end to support it.
Grease and lube that might clog with grit was completely unneeded once the track was properly supported.
