Any secret to accessing the salon speakers behind the cloth grills?

    Mine are hold with Velcro

    They are held on with Velcro just like french stated. I just got one of mine off. It took some time though...

    My boat is held on by those plastic christmas tree things. I had to pry off the mesh covered plywood grills. I broke a couple but they are readily available at the auto parts store.

    thanks.  I am assuming they are the same speakers as in the clarion they will be deteriorated and need replaced.   I ordered 4 pair of JL audio speakers to replace all.  I also ordered 1/4" led plastic spacers.  guess I will need to figure out getting switched power to these now.

    I was surprised that mine were Marine Audio and not Clarion's. I had Clarion's in the cockpit area and the head unit is a Clarion. Being inside, mine look brand new. I think out in the sun and weather is what causes them to break down.
