Weaver davits. You can buy them direct from them. I have a pair I do not need anymore, they are like a 6" length. I can check if you want. I have the stand-off bars too.
Here are the brackets and the stand offs. One is fixed at 46" the other is adjustable to 36"max. You can find them on the Weaver site for more info. Used probably 2 months at max last summer.
Yes, you just need the mating pads that mount on the dinghy. The original dinghy was a Mercury 270 airdeck. These worked with my AB 9.5L RIB too, but I changed davit systems to keep the larger outboard on the dinghy all the time.
The mounts pictured at that page would fit the locations on my platform. I actually gave a set back tot he seller because I didn't need them. The big glue on patches go on the ding itself.
The right thing costs money. It's going to cost about 500.00 in all to do the job. Those davits CPSMARINE is selling are not the right one for your boat. I wouldn't use the set from Black_Diamond either. They stick out way to far. You need the set Stodge posted.
The ones I posted fit right into the davit mount area on the 342. They are only few inches longer than the 'original' ones. They dinghy will dictate if you need more clearance. My originals with the 270 airdeck had the dinghy rubbing hard to the platform. They extend about 4" from the platform end.
With the dinghy mounted, you're f**ked if they are in the way for docking, you'll rip the whole dinghy off the boat. lol. The original ones are 'just as much' a hazard if you will as these are. The removable ones are nice, more money and even more expensive at the bottom of the lake. lol
All I can tell you is I had a 342 for years. I had the weaver davits mounted in the depressions in the swim platform and the pads mounted on the dinghy below the rub rail. It worked flawlessly. Just make sure your dinghy is not bigger than your beam. This will cause problems parking. Stodge posted the right davits for your boat. CPSMARINE's are for a hard boat and a different swim platform set up. Black_Diamond's are too long for your boat. They will work but you will hate them when you are rafted up and people are swimming. Weaver does have removeable receivers but they will not fit the depressions. Your boat was built for the exact davits that Stodge posted.
I agree with explore7425, use the correct ones that your swim platform was designed to use. You will be much happier. I have them on my boat and they work excellent.
We have a center console RIB that weighs about 400lbs so I can't put it on the platform. Most of the davit solutions are rated for 350lbs or less, not to mention I don't think that much weight on the back of the boat will help me get on plane.
Most times the admiral drives the ding and meets me wherever we going for the weekend. I have a 50 foot tow bridle I got from Top Knot that works well too.
We mostly need a ding because our little dog will not do her business on the platform. Tried a number of methods to get her to go there, but no luck. I've been thinking of picking up a small ding with a small motor for the times we will be on the hook (most weekends) for her trips to land. The RIB is for when we want to anchor the big boat then travel around the bays.
Anybody have tips for getting a dog to do their biz on the platform?

if you don't get them I would be interested.

The extended ones become a safety hazard around the swim platform for kids, or adults.
