Seacocks leave open or always close them

So what do you guys do leave the sea come open all the time or only when using the toilet or a/c?

    I leave mine open but have been thinking about closing them since I live an hour from the dock. Can't hurt... Can it?

    I leave mine open all the time, occasionally open and close them just to ensure operation

    I only have a seacock for the toilet and never open it.
    We use the fresh water from the sink nozzle to clean the bowl and flush the line.
