Heater/AC question

Fast question, on my 270 I have heat and A/C. I know the A/C uses lake water for cooling. My question is do you simply turn the heater on and adjust your temperature? Is the heater just running on electric shore power?

Yes - it's reverse cycle heating, so you use it the same way as the air conditioning.

Do I need the seacock open when I run the heat?

If you set your programming to Auto(believe it's P1 and setting is 0) heat will kick on if ambient temp is correct and it's cold enough.

The A/C Heat unit is basically a heat pump so you need the water for both cycles.
