Considering having an A/C service performed

Since I never had a boat with a/c and the a/c currently needs t be primed anyway I am considering have an Technician come out and service the unit, go through it, clean it and get it up and running so I don't have to worry about it for the rest of the season. I have a 2006 270 and I doubt the a/c was ever looked so I think it may be a good investment, any thoughts?

I assume I have to pull some panels out in the aft cabin, anyone know which  ones?

in the aft cabin you pop off the caps and the panel unscrews. The unit is easily accessed thru the return air. Priming is a never ending process unless you close the seacock before going out on a cruise. I installed a T fitting to prime or you can lower the pump and it primes itself. 5 minute job to lower the pump. Good luck. If its cooling just make sure the drip pan is free of any debris that will prevent it from draining to the shower sump or the condensate will end up in your bilge.
