Replacement Fridge

I have an 04 342 and the fridge down below is not working, clicks when plugged in but nothing runs. The thermostat is missing so could it be set to low or off?

Any ideas on trying to fix? Finally anyone replace their fridge on the 342? The one in now is a Tundra t22

Yes it is missing, just 2 wires with connectors on them. Correction the fridge down below is a Tundra t42, the one up top that works is a t22.

You could jump them together and see if everything kicks on

What do you mean by connectors on them? What kind of connectors? The thermostat is basically an on/of switch. When it reaches the desired temperature it turns the compressor off. If you just bridge the wires together, assuming the fridge is working, it will run the compressor indefinitely and freeze up your entire fridge. You should probably get the thermostat replaced.

Mark, thats ok for testing then get a new stat

I replaced both fridges very recently.  The one in the cockpit was replaced with Waeco CR65 and the one in the galley was replaced with Waeco CR110.  Both with flush mount frames.

Sure do, ready made replacements.  I have the measurements somewhere.  If anyone's interested let me know and I'll dig them out.
