Temperature Control for Dometic CR-110 Fridge

Hello, The thermostat/temp control on the Dometic CR-110 fridge in my 2009 320 EC has stopped working. If I press the temperature control knob the fridge will run, as soon as I stop putting pressure on the knob the fridge shuts off. I called Dometic to order the part but they do not sell to individuals and referred me to a retailer, who, after taking all of my information has not called me back. Has anyone on the forum had to replace this part and if so, where did you purchase it? Thanks in advance for your reply.
