270 Radar Arch Installed

Just had the arch I bought from Great Lakes Skipper installed, went fairly smoothly, big thanks to Jim and crew at PenWeld in Sayville, NY,  great job!!

Looks good.  I assume this is aftermarket, not OEM?  Is it the same color and just not weathered yet?  Does the camper canvas simply fit underneath?  Now you just need the radar dome and GPS antenna up there.. :-)

Anytime diggin, it is OEM, fits under all canvas, yes it needs to be weathered, and definitely needs radar dome, and other goodies up there!!

I am pretty sure that arch gets painted at the factory. "Rinker White" for that year if I am not mistaken.

Rinker has more than 1 "white" color. My boat is sand white but I know that there are other whites......

Mine is sand as well. I believe there is a bone white too. Great Lakes skipper has all of the factory gelcoat repair kits that call out the colors

It looks the same as every other FV270 and is mounted in the same spot... Looks awesome!!

Thanks guys, here's another pic, my wheels r turning on what to do about color, wrap or paint, I'm gonna have to get creative, although it doesn't bother me as much anymore

I would not try and match the white. It will be almost impossible. I'd get creative. You can easily wrap that and match your hull with some sort of pattern in it.

Wrap or paint it black, that'd look sharp with your hull .
