Trim up does not work

My trim up does not work, except the trailer up. Down works fine. I also jumpered the relay and that brought the trim up.....bad trim up switch??

Trim senders(pucks) on outdrive are most likely the culprit. Check for frayed/broken wires on the pucks.

I had the same problem and it ended up being a broken purple wire in the throttle handle going to the trim switch. Had to remove the throttle handle to solder the wire back together. Moving the throttle flexes the wires and they can break over time.

@R186, I'd check wiring (ground) connections at the throttle, then I'd go after the sending units.  BTW - I assume the trim and trailer tilt circuits are on the same fuse...... because if they weren't.....
