How can I buy a replacement key for my cabin door?
====================
Most Rinkers use door locks by Mobella. Go inside the cabin, lock the door, and read the three-digit code on the back of the lock. That is your key code. Some Rinker owners have used the following online vendor:
I didn't know other keys would work. I tried going to a locksmith and they said they didn't have that profile. Did the motorcycle key work? I just ended up ordering spares on Mobella.
Mobella keys does a great job of sending out replacement keys rather fast. I have had them send me 5 extras so I can have boat keys in all of my vehicles. That way I am never without boat keys when a spur of the moment boat ride arises. I found a company that makes spare ignition keys as well.

A number of people I know don't lock the cabin door when they are away due to the damage and cost when someone breaks in. Fixing the door/lock often costs more than what was stolen.
Chris, you should be able to lock your cabin door from the inside. There's a trick though, when you unlock the door from the deck you have to set the key position to a neutral position, as you turn it, you should feel a notch where it sits, I think it's just before it locks again. If you go inside, you should be able to shift a thumb latch up/down to close/open the lock.
