B-3 serial # & drive ratio

OK, so I've been following some of the threads regarding Bravo III drive ratios, etc. and on my 2007 246 Captiva, 350 MAG MPI, there is no serial # or drive ratio imprinted on the Mercruiser sticker as on some models. There is evidence of some paper labels with bar codes and incomplete numbers. Paper labels on something that gets submerged, right? With nothing to indicate ratio & serial number, does anyone think I might be able to get that from Rinker if I supply my Hull ID number?

    You should, as long as the engine and drive wasn't changed at some point.  Do you have a bill of sale? That will have it as well.
