Exhaust system, dry joint gasket issue. Merc 2003

I need to replace the gaskets on my exhaust system since the PO of the boat didn´t install it the right way.
However, I find contradictive guidelines on the web on how the should be installed.
I have a sea water cooled dry-joint system with 3” spacers and some schematics indicates that the gasket with the restriction should go on top of the spacer and the full flow gasket on top of the manifold and some indicates the opposite.
Two contradictive examples:

Can anyone please sort this out?
Thanks
