The plastic insert that is in the stainless receptacle for the transom door barrel bolt has cracked and the bolt now rattles and won't stay locked. Does anyone know where to purchase a replacement?
Maybe someone remembers or I can check my next time at the boat, but you can use the rubber grommet for a Toyota PCV valve. Solves the rattling problem.
Old school hardware stores are great places to look for items like this. Black_Diamonds tip is great, though parts for my wife's Toyota are almost as expensive as marine OEM parts
Did anyone ever figure this out or find a grommet that works? I received the black plastic keeper from Perko but as @tundra250 said it fits too loose and falls out.
Off topic slightly, but I think I'm going to invent something for us Rinker owners.....a little cover that goes over the hatch switch with "Check Transom Door" printed on it....

Pearson57842: Your original question sounded like it was regarding the receptacle that the latch fits into when the door is closed. Correct?
If so, I have the same problem. I was thinking of trying some of that rubber coating stuff that you can put on hand tools.
Here is the link to the PCV valve grommet fix that works great for the receptacle when the door is in the open position:
