Volvo-penta 5.0 XDP-B trim indicator calibration

Anyone know how to calibrate the indicator on the outdrive? I understand that its doable but haven't found how to.  Any comments appreciated!

    Loosen slightly and twist left or right and tighten, run trim. Repeat adjust again until it's close to what you need.

    we're always interested in a fix - good luck. P.S those trim senders are usually plastic - don't over tighten them.

    Amazing that I'm getting variable readings but its not translating to the meter.  There's not much of adjustment  on the sender though so I guess I'll hold off till I pull it for the summer to look into it further .   I fixed the trim actuators and I'm trying to salvage the rest of the season.
