Trim tab rolled over for optimum lift. Youtube Vid

There were certain years of production where the factory was installing the trim tabs with the angled side facing upward. Someone came up with the common sense idea to add much needed lift by simply  rolling over the tabs so that the angles face downward to channel the water instead of allowing it to roll off the sides. Removing the transom bracket is a hassle so here's an easier answer. This simple mod will improve your time out the hole by as much as 25%. Here's a simple video I shot for a friend and a few thoughts in the video text  on getting to plane quicker so I thought I'd post a link here too. Have a great summer season.

Thanks go out to guys who posted this idea somewhere else. Hope it works for you as well as it did for us. Mike
