Windlass breaker trips

The 50  amp breaker on my windlass trips sometime when I bring up the anchor. The breaker resets after 30 seconds and sometimes trips a couple more times. I don't want to get stuck with the anchor down. Windlass is the 600 model, it is 9 yrs old. Any comments will help

Check your ground for the windless, it could be that it's corroded and causing high resistance then tripping the breaker.
