Stereo Installation on 2010 246 CC

Has anyone upgraded their factory stereo in a 246 CC? I have a 2010 and the speaker's are starting to short and having quality issues. Wondering if anyone was able to find a similar system with same style remotes and degree of difficulty?

    I got my 280 on July 2nd. Less than 2 weeks of having it, I couldn't do it anymore. Installed a new head unit, 5 channel amps, 10 inch sub, 4 new 6.5 on the deck and also cut in 2 6x9's on the deck. Best decision I have made so far. LOL. I know on my 2007 280 they had Clarion head unit with the remotes on the deck. Clarion in my opinion does not do it for me. I abandoned the remote controls on the deck. It was worth it in my view.

    Where did you mount your sub? What amp did you get? I am contemplating adding a sub on my 280 and possibly 2 more 6.5 inch speakers towards the rear U shaped seating.

    I bought a shallow mount sub off amazon for $108 (link below). I've had it installed 3 weeks now and it is impressive to say the least. I was nervous about it because it is a shallow mount but it has performed nicely. I mounted it under the seat in back of the captains seat on the starboard side. It comes with 2 L brackets so you can screw it to the floor. Actually fit perfect between the floor and the top lip of the seat. Wedged it in there and mounted the brackets and I was good to go. I will snap some pics this weekend while I am at the marina.
