Chartplotter wiring

I have a 2004 342 fiesta Vee. I am installing an additional chart-plotter at the Helm and do not want to pigtail into the Raymarine chart-plotter from factory. Any simple pigtail I can use at the helm that wont take power away from anything else. Installing Standard Horizon 1010i

You mean power supply to the new MFD?  There's probably an aux power switch at the helm that isn't being used.
