Hubbell - power cord

rinkerboyrinkerboy Member Posts: 46 ✭✭
Got a Hubbell 125v 30 amp shore power cord.

I want to replace the cord/cable using same plug using the European blue AC cord/cable.

Can the female end of the cord/cable be dismantled, as it looks if its sealed to remove the existing Yellow cord/cable.

thanks

I believe they make a new female end but not sure. It has to be water tight.

I am not a fan of replacing cord ends for marine applications.

Try looking at the websites for Marinco, Hubbell, Defender marine and West marine. they have a number of adaptors and some replaceable ends but I agree with BD - I'm not a fan of cord end replacements as the rest of the cord has usually TXd too. If it is a new cord I'd still try to find an adapter as I fear being able to get a safe and waterproof seal.

Replacement caps cost almost the same as new cords........
