Deck Fridge Installed

Installed a new 2.3 cu ft fridge on the upper deck of my 290.
I got the Dometic 1065 fridge from West Marine.

sweet! That Rinker cooler that goes there pretty much blows.....I'm thinking of re doing for storage as I do have the fridge below which is taking care of our needs but that is a nice install!

Anyfive - if you don't mind me asking, how much did the replacement cost you?


With a boat this size, I don't know how you don't use both fridges. Had one on my 258 and now that I have two, I don't know how I survived before haha. They're very convenient.

Very nice. I have 2 fridges also. One for adult pops and the other is for food/water. @tniggel you need to check out this install. You were looking to add a second fridge.

What was used as the filler strip? The cooler location is bigger than the fridge. Both look great!

I used teflon strips 1/4 inch thick
