Removing floor under cabin table.

Hello thinking to put in an bow thruster , i wondering how i can take of the floor in the cabin where the table is.
Its an fw 270 from 2002.

Are you really sure that you need to place it under the floor?
In mine, only a 250 (2003), the thruster is installed in the most forward storage compartment. The thruster is a Side-Power SE40s.
No need to remove the floor and easy to access, service and most of all, inspect. Well below the water line in order to work efficiently.

The PO installed the thruster and the boat is still in the water. Can't measure. My guess is that the upper part of the tube is about 15 cm (6 inch) below the water line. Three pics attached as reference.
Have never had problems with the thruster loosing grip even rough sea.
Sounds good hope i can fit in bow thrustern on same place.

I’m not sure if this will help you in Canada, but anyway:
The installation were done here in Sweden in 2012 by the previous owner. I have no knowledge of the labour cost for the installation but the cost for the equipment was roughly 1400 USD, back then.
Does it work? Does it move the bow well?
Do you know what size motor that is?

I see that having a bow thruster on your boat still hunt you
but now with the CDN $ at almost 30% less it would not be a big saving.

It moves the bow verry well even in heavy side wind.
