Trim Tabs...lights goes on when turning the key on the on position....and

Good afternoon,

I had this issue for a little while, however it seems to go away and come back, when it does my trim tab doesn t work. Essentially when I turn the ignition key on the On position...either the right or left ( most often left) trim tab lights comes on....and if it does it stays there and I can t operate this trim tab.  Sometime I just turn it off put it back on and it goes away.  Please see picture of what it does. Anyone would know the cause of this and what I could do to have it go away for good.

The manual says only that it's the generic indicator for "stbd side fault".  Sounds like a loose connector or damaged cable.  (Sorry, I know that's not much help.)

I get that some times, I turn off the key and turn it on again, then all good. Like a reset......

Yes that s what i do as well,,.butnlately it seems to be coming back more often and sometime even if i turn it off and back on...it still there.
