    Frustrating, yes.  But worth it.  Thus do a lot yourself or have friends who know how too.  Things happen, ask anyone on here.  Just part of the experience.

    yes, ruff start indeed- I screwed up more stuff the first year I had my 270 than I fixed!

    Hey , think of it this way..... Now that you did your first breaking of the boat you dont have to worry so much about the next breaking of the boat.
    The first time I went rock crawling with my prop I wigged the heck out. A lot of cursing and swearing, I was so mad I created bad words, the second time, when I completely ripped the lower unit off the boat I was like... MMMM Its insured.
    Get it fixed and go break more stuff
