Searchlight.

Hi everyone, my searchlight has decided to only move up and down. What do I look for as a start? The light comes on ok but it won't swivel left or right. Any help please.

I think there are two motors. One that moves it up and down and another side to side. The one may have an issue.  I've taken the light apart before (had loose contacts), it wasn't too difficult.  That could be the other issue, loose contacts stopped mine from working altogether. Worth a try.
