Ready guys?

1. How often (years/hours) do you replace the impellers for your engine's water pump?

2. How often (years/hours) do you replace the generator impeller?

3. How often do you replace the fuel filters for the engine - I have a 2014 8.2 mag, so it should have the newer cool fuel module + another fuel filter?

4. How often do you replace the anode in your water heater?

5. How often do you replace the fuel filter for the generator?

6. I think everyone replaces the spark plugs for their Kohler generators yearly, right?

That wasn't too bad, was it? :-)

Answers/advice appreciated!

Impellers can last along time if you never run one dry.  I usually inspect at 5 year intervals since I only run about 30 hours annually.  The cool fuel module I'd do annually because I think they also act as a water separator.  I only have the one fuel filter.  I don't plan to look at my water heater anode til about 5 years but I do fill both sides of it with the appropriate antifreeze with rust inhibitor in the fall.

Never had a generator so I'll not say.

Engine impeller - every other year

Genny impeller-every other year (unless it goes sooner & it has)

Fuel filters- every other year, probably should do every

Water heater anode - did it once since owning boat in '12

Genny fuel filter - hadn't yet, but have spare

Genny plugs - first sign of trouble, probably every other year if not sooner

Genny anode - when it's half gone

I have a set of spares for all of these (as well as many other items) always on board
