Hello all...just purchased a 04 Fiesta Vee 250...I am going to tow initially with my 2015 Infiniti Qx80 with tow rating of 8500 lbs...but I am a bit concerned as the Fiesta Vee is 6300 lbs dry and probably closer to the max when fuel / water and gear are on-board.  Any observations with other half-ton vehicles when towing this boat?  I currently tow my Wellcraft 24-ft Eclipse 4,000 lbs with no problems.....but this is is over 2,000 lbs more so I am a bit concerned.  Thanks much- Ken

Make sure the trailer brakes are working!

So long as you don't tow long distances often and you have some towing capacity experience it might not be too bad.  Make sure you set the hitch up so the trailer is level.

I tow a 2006 Fiesta Vee 270 with a 2020 Nissan Armada with upgraded rear coil springs and air bags.  For relatively short distances it is fine, but I wouldn't tow it a long distance with that vehicle...and for sure, electric brakes and weight distributing hitch are an absolute must.

Air bags make a huge difference in towing ability.   Even on 35" tires and 4-6 inches of lift my boat towed bow down.  Ate the front tires all the time.

Air bags not only helped the leveling ability but also body sway.

This was with a factory f350 suspension under my excursion.

I should have installed them years ago
