Dark Drive Oil - Volvo XDP

Changing the gear lube my 2007 320 with XDP drives and noticed that the drive oil in one of the drives was much darker than the other. I only use Volvo Synthetic gear lube. It didn't smell any different than the other side, any advice or concern?
