Moderators: Clicking On A Compliment?

Dear Moderators, this may just be a problem with my computer but I often try to click a box on the "compliment bar" below someone's post and it is blocked by the "tweet"  "share" "e.mail" etc. boxes. The "compliment bar" used to be open all the time below the posts, without interference. If this is me it's just another bonus of my windows 7 if not and it's forum related is there a fix?.....P.S. As an example I tried to click on an "awesome" on MDboater's "compliment bar" regarding his post "Generator and Inverter in Hybrid AC System" and it seems hidden behind  "share" and "e.mail" boxes - is this me or the forum?  Obviously not the end of the world but it's nice to show someone appreciation for a good comment. Maybe the issue is browser based.  I can't get the Tweet, Share etc. thing to show up at all.  But I do see the compliment bar.

Works for me......... After looking further into this I see what MT is talking about. His "awesome" is there but when you put the mouse over it his name is blocked by the "link buttons"...... Not sure if that is happening to everyone.....

Works fine for me in Win7 and Win8 with IE and Chrome.

The sharing buttons only appear on the original post, not the comments.

Interesting, the Tweet, Share etc. thingie only shows up (for me) on the first post of a thread.

@raybo3, exactly, if I try to click a compliment on an "original" post is seems that "link buttons" are fixed and hide the author of the compliment -  kind of defeats the purpose? I believe this is a forum fault and the "link buttons" on the original post should be moved so as to not obstruct the compliment bar - or - maybe move the compliment bar. BTW why does the compliment bar not show all the time like on our previous forum? Why do we have to move the cursor over to activate it? Just asking!

@LaRea, exactly. I know someone has appreciated my effort (thank you) but I have no idea who and therefore how it might pertain to their need thus I can't respond to them. Make sense or am I wandering around again? LOL

Yes, the pop up when you hover over "Awesome" is behind the facebook share, email and share this buttons.

The solution is simple.  Don't say anything compliment-worthy until after the first post of a thread.

Or put an X for the first compliment to use that space up.

Mark that wont work. All you do is click on it....

Oh yeah, I obviously never tried it, but the website designers put in an X (I guess even just a blank line) automatically to use the first space up.
