Arch paint is cracking

My 2013 276 Captiva is experiencing severe cracks in the paint on top of the black painted arch. I never used it for towing and wash after every use and wax 4 times per year. Please let me know if this is covered under the warranty.

    That's weird. Looks like it didn't cure properly. Have your dealer take a peek at it......

    Definitely that is a warranty issue.

    Needs warranty work. Base not cured properly or contamination during application.  Being black the sun cooks to a temp and the breakdown begins.

    And it shouldn't be a big deal to fix either. I wouldn't stress about it, just contact the dealer and put the claim in.

    Warranty. Go all the way "up" to Kim Slocum if you have to.
