tachs and sync dont work ? 2005 342

I just bout the boat ,, I have not looked into yet ... I just thought I would ask if anyone has seen this too ? thanks rick

    Congrats.  Great boat.  The problem should be turn out to be a broken wire or loose connection associated with all three of the gauges.   Probably a grounding connection right there in the instrument panel.

    My previous tach problems were solved by checking and tightening connections on the back of the tach and cycling the cylinder selection switch (also on the back) several times. Be sure it is reset to the 8 cylinder mark and try again. I was told if the tach is not working correctly that the sych also will be off. This was the case of the 340 I just sea trialed.
