Led cup holder upgrade

I ordered these from eBay.  They are a perfect fit. Green led with a stainless steel bezel.   Just wiggled out the old original holders and peeled the caulk off.  Placed a new bead of caulk around the hole and pressed in. They have drain hole fittings in the center that has a drain tube that runs to the bilge . The old tubing was a different diameter so I had to replace. Each holder has a delicate wire that is held to the side with a rubber band.  Before I started I smeared some marine caulk along the wire to hold in place, I predict that band would soon fail. Connected all the wires together with the heat shrink type connectors and tapped into the courtesy light.

They sold on ebay.   The sellers name is dockboxman. http://www.ebay.com/usr/dockboxman?_trksid=p2057872.m2749.l2754    They were listed for 23.00 each but i contacted him and he sold me 10(i got a few extra in case of failure) at 10.00 ea plus shipping

He also has led light rings that install around the speakers but i felt that would be too much. I thought either/or.  Their isn't a courtesy light on the port side so it workout nicely.  My only concern is if their is a distraction from the two by the gauges, im probably going to install those two on a separate switch.

@Trashman - that's a good idea. Also, red light doesn't interfere with night vision.

Choosing the color was the biggest struggle for sure. Next project will be an underwater led near the swim platform. I have to do my homework on that project.

@Trashman, whatever brand you buy I highly recommend one with color changing ability. If you`re going to the trouble of an install might as well go all in. The color changing is so awesome at night!

Unfortunately the color change option wasn't available when I did mine, or I would have considered it. I will have to wait a few years before I upgrade... Right now I am happy with my Coastal Night Lights in blue.

@CG, yeah I agree, any light is real cool....and blue is one of the nicest colors. I have the blue LEDs on my 360 that came from the Rinker factory and they are real sharp. I added the color changing/strobing units when I up-graded. Even so, sometimes I just run the blues - less power drain and still real sharp!

I didnt know they sold the color changing bezels , that would've been sweet.  Blue is real nice and thats what caught my attention at the marina.  I went with green because everyone had blue,lol.
