ok-pretty nervous now to drill a hole through my out drive-drilling a new hole/thread for a grounding wire. Looks like about a 3/16 size screw so I'm thinking a #10 with a 24 thread? Its pretty thick there, maybe 3/4 inch and the other went all the way through which kind of surprised me....I will however drill! what do you think about the 24, I'd think 32 to fine a thread? I sure don't want to drill more that one hole for this repair!

nhsd Member Posts: 182 ✭✭✭As someone else mentioned on another thread about this, I would drill out the old screw rather than an entirely new hole.
