A/C Water supply hose

So I was poking around working on boat today. Took off seacocks to replace as they are seized/corroded, and noticed something. The supply hose going to the toilet, is of a normal rubber type. The hose for the A/C water supply, is a white outer/black inner hose, that is VERY hard/stiff. Any reason this can't be replaced with the same style as the toilet? 2 reasons, one to reduce noise transferred to boat from water pump/A/C unit,(also going to rubber mount pump) and 2, I'm worried about how stiff hose is, and how it can stress the plastic suction filter/fittings on pump. Not somewhere to have a failure!

Weird, there is no wire in it, but seacock is bonded.......I was hoping something like this could be used
