It's on your inboard engine, pulley mounted. Look for something on the front, lower part of engine with a pulley that has two hoses on the back side. Your impeller is inside it. Should be changed every other year.
Thanks Dream_Inn I'll have to find out when it was last replaced. Lucky for me the guy who sold me the boat is docked right next to me with his new one.
The confusion factor is the location. The Alpha's and older OMC's etc., had an impeller inside the outdrive itself which brought the water in and delivered it up to the pump on the front of the engine. The Bravo's use a separate belt driven pump on the front of the engine, which does have an impeller that can be easily replaced. No impeller in the drive.
