I took my boat out this weekend on the speedometer works on and off. Ideas on how to fix it, Also, I just want to make sure the starboard and portside gas gauge when one side read different then the other is normal. One side 3/4 the other side 1/2 tank.

What could cause your fuel consumption to be higher on one engine. Do you use it more? It's possible that they are not the same.Boat Name: King Kong

Is the engine that is showing higher fuel consumption sharing a fuel tank with the generator? Is one set of props "dinged"? .....Most important has this happened before? AND - what was the attitude of the hull when the tanks were last filled. My vessel view gauges are VERY accurate. Last summer a gas dock employee said he had filled both tanks. I said there is a 30 gallon difference and my Vessel View showed it. He swore both tanks were full. He didn't want to get fired for a fuel spill so I let it go. It must have been a small air lock or just his imagination. The next time I filled the both tanks showed (and were) the same. Many times I have seen cruisers getting filled at gas docks and they are listing to one side - no way the tanks are level. ....respectfully trying to think of everything I can to help.
