what is this remote controller? does it hook up to a newer stereo? anyone have the manual for it?

Hi guys,
some sort of remote stereo controller is on the helm panel. It does not seem to hook up to my current head unit. Anyone know how this things works? pic of remote, and my current head unit..can they hook up to each other?h other

@F100 Al is the Clarion expert. I'd run (google) your Clarion model number (M109) against the remote number, it's hard to read (CSC-595???) and see if there is a link. Fingers crossed.

I just did a quick search and found this. Not your model number but looks like there is a head unit that goes with your remote.

If I was a betting man, I would have to say no, that remote won't work with a newer stereo.

I'm with Greg on this one. Looks like an old controller that was left behind after a head unit change.
