Merc 5.0 260hp Alpha 1 (enough power)?

I'm currently looking at a 246 captiva bowrider. It is equipped with the merc 5.0 Alpha 1. will it be underpowered. Won't be using it for wakeboarding, just some bayriding and pulling the kids on a tube.
