Issues with fresh water pump

Ok, just 12 hours before slash down. So I flushed the fresh water tank, opened the faucets and flipped on the fresh water pump. The usual air in the lines but never got a smooth flow of water. Lots of pulsating and foam, I did get water but not steady. I worked on it for a hour before giving up. Check lots of old threads but still an issue. Need some help. Bad pump?

check the pump inlet screen and all the faucet screens. You should also have a pump strainer.

No disrespect here but you don't have a tap open somewhere. We chased a problem for two hours last summer on a friend's boat and the transom shower wand was leaking.  Respectfully suggest you check all taps and fittings before ditching the pump. Good luck!

Thanks guys I did check all the faucet screens. I'm getting a pulsating out of the faucets

Does the pump try to recover and run after a while even when faucets are not open. Notice any water in the bilge. I wonder if you have a leak.

Pump doesn't cycle off, it keeps running, but no leaks. I will mess with today once I drop it in at the slip

Check the vent on the fresh water tank and make sure its not plugged...
