Replacing battery

Hi Guys,

My 04 270FV have 2 batteries and it looks like i have have to replace the house battery.

My question is since both of them are group 24, can I replace one of them (house) with a group 27?

    If you only have one house battery, then yes you can upgrade to 27 group. If the two are tied together for house then both should be the same.

    Thanks Dream Inn....yes I only have 1 house battery... stupid question... I'm assuming that if  I can upgrade it to a group 27, then it shouldn't be a problem if I upgrade it to a group 31 if I want for extra reserve power?

    Yes you can upgrade to a Group 31.

    If your charger will handle dual charging rates up-grade to a Series 31 AGM. If not it might be time to upgrade to a new charger - not that expensive and two Series 31 AGMs?
